Day 11: “It ain’t over cos the fat tendon stings…..”

By IanC on 20th August

Ian standing in a jacket and high vis' top...and on the 11th day the God of all things running brought Nordic poles! Shortest day of the race at 49k flew past with the poles helping me take some of the weight off my “Nora Batty” legs, running Langlauf style up and down the hills through beautiful lakes and forests.

The temperature was supposed to reach 35 degrees, though I don’t think it did.

More heat and hills tomorrow, mmm…, plus an extra 29km.

Sitting in a lake while sending this trying to cool the pins down.
