Fit for Purpose, www.fit-for-purpose.co.uk, will be running a series of training camps in 2012. The aim of the camps is to provide environments for athletes to focus on blocks of optimised training and to train with like minded people. Fit for Purpose will provide support in the form of sports massage, sports psychology and performance-focused hypnotherapy, nutritional analysis and advice, sports coaching and training advice, biomechanical video analysis.
How does it work?
You find your own accommodation in the area. We all meet at the start of the week for an introductory evening and for discussion about how we can best support your focused training block (and we can help you make a plan before the week if preferred). During the week we will host a workshop on a relevant topic and associated social evening.
What does it involve?
It depends what option you would like…
Option 1: Introductory evening, workshop and social, 2 other session of your choice (nutrition, training review, psychology / hypnotherapy, sports massage, biomechanics). £90
Option 2: Introductory evening, workshop and social, 2 sports massages during the week (slots booked at introductory evening), 1 other session of your choice (nutrition, training review, psychology / hypnotherapy, biomechanics). £125
Option 3: Introductory evening, workshop and social, 2 sports massages during the week (slots booked at introductory evening), development of training plan towards a goal defined by you (we will meet at the start of the week to develop a clear training plan for the week, and later in the week to plan your training to meet your target*), 1 extra session of your choice (nutrition, training review, psychology / hypnotherapy, biomechanics). £230
* The plan will include a phase planner and standard training weeks to reach your goal along with a detailed training plan for the first month. Advice will be given on how to adapt your training to match the phase plan and detailed ongoing monthly training plans can be provided, priced depending on the level of input required.
Note: Food diaries for nutritional assessment should be completed prior to travelling.
Depending on availability, extra sessions of any type can be booked during the week for an additional cost of £35. All sessions last one hour.
